Oysters and Mignonette Sauce

Oysters paired with chilled white wine! Yum, need we say more?

Carne Humana White Wine with its citrus and tropical fruit flavors, its lush rounded mouthfeel and clean vibrant acidity is an ideal match for fresh natural oysters.  Serve with freshly squeezed lemon or a simple mignonette sauce.

Mignonette Sauce:

Stir 1/4 cup red wine vinegar together with 1 tablespoon minced shallot, and 1/4 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper in a small bowl.  Leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour for the flavors to meld together, then serve with oysters and lemon wedges.
